Bypass Panel

Power fab System Series MBP, maintenance bypass switch is designed to provide a means of isolating a power source while maintaining electrical power to the critical load. A maintenance bypass switch is necessary for maintenance, as well as, bypassing to an alternate source. The Series MBP contains electrically operated moulded case switches, and reliable logic to allow a closed, make before break, transition.

Known more descriptively as a wrap around bypass, this is fitted externally to the UPS and enables the UPS to be isolated for maintenance or repair without interrupting power to the load. On larger UPS the internal static bypass should be engaged before throwing the maintenance bypass. Some bypasses have interlocks to ensure this correct operation.

Designed to safely isolate a UPS from utility power and from the protected load in order for a user to perform regular service and maintenance, the panels ensure that power is maintained at all times to the critical load.

A variety of options are

• 40A to 630A models
• 208V bypass for UPSs from 10-225kVA
• 480V bypass for UPSs from 10-500kVA
• 2- and 3-breaker configurations
• It also including auxiliary contacts, key interlocks and output breakers

• Suitable for correcting the RYB phase sequence, whenever the sequence is changed or reversed
• For Three Phase UPS, during sequence changed or reversed, UPS will start use the battery power
• Avoid damages during phase sequence changes or reversal
• The sequence corrector will switch off, during the single phasing or imbalance voltage occur & later, auto-reset after restoration
